Non members can enter Non Competitive (or Pleasure) Rides but as they will be a Temporary Day Member (TDM) they will need to pay a higher entry fee.
Non members can join an EGB Group as an Associate member and then they can enter Group rides and activities at members rates – see Groups pages for details.
Non members can join EGB as a Full member, they then can enter all rides for which they are qualified and pay only members rates.
We also have some special schemes which allow non members of EGB to enjoy certain classes of competitive rides and so experience what it is like to be a competitive endurance rider:
British Riding Club members can form a team and enter certain competitive classes at EGB rides at special rates see BRC Team Event for details.
Pony Club members can enter certain competitive classes at EGB rides at special rates, see the Pony Club website for details.
TryBeforeYouBuy allows non members to enter a maximum of two competitive classes (max 40kms) as a novice, for details see the TBYB page.
If you decide to join EGB as a full member, then you can join online OR you can download a membership form, complete it and send it to the EGB office at Stoneleigh Park with a SAE.
You will also need to register your horse, unless you only wish to to do NCRs. Otherwise you can register your horse online OR download a registration form, complete it and send it to the EGB office at Stoneleigh Park with a SAE.
New horses will also need a logbook unless they are only going to do NCRs.
WHAT IS A LOGBOOK?
This is a record of every official endurance event in which your horse participates. It is unique for each animal and it has one for life. Every horse participating in any competitive ride must have a log book, and this will be sent to you on registering your horse with Endurance GB.
If you wish to join EGB as an Associate member, select which group you wish to join and contact the Liasion Officer for that Group see Groups list for details.
As an Associate member you can enter Group rides and activities at member rates. You do not need to register your horse and your horse does not need a logbook.
See here for details of the various Subscription Rates
Join On Line– Note that when you join on line you will first register (and pay for) yourself as a member, and will then be emailed password details to be able to register your horse(s) online
Joining Forms - Note that if you choose to post us your joining forms you may send member registration and horse(s) registration forms together.
